Okay I noticed that I had a grammatical error in the post below.Allow me to rectify it.I said ''come with me home''..it was supposed to be ''came with me home''..my bad..my apologies to grammar enthusiasts and scrutinizers..but back to the bottom line..We were up against Convent Peel..and we heard that they were good..and true enough..they lived up to that.The motion was ''Hillside developments endanger life''.Biased?Thought so..but we found arguments for the opposition and as always..we could have argued both ways..but we were gov..and our opponents gave a good fight..they were as equally as strong..kudos to you Convent Peel debaters..but..we snagged the win again..We were here to win states..and nothing is going to stand in our way and block our path of the cup.We won..and on to the finals(gasps and shivers and gets spasms)..We are up against Kepong Baru..a good team..an awesome team I would say..but as we say..''We may not be as good as you..but you're not as great as us..''

States Wira Cup Debate-Semis
Oh yeah..we were freaking out!!Wait wait..rewind..lets go back to the day the debate was supposed to be held..we were ever ready to face whichever possible opponents..when we got a phone call saying that it was postponed..The debate was supposed to be held on a Thursday but was postponed to Friday..All we could do was lift our shoulders and go ''okay''.So we braced ourselves for Friday.Darsh,DOM,Petra packed their luggage and carried them to school..come with me home..only to hear that the debate had to be postponed again!Arghhhhhh..we were fuming..it was like the authorities responsible were toying with our mental mindset..our feelings..our efforts..We were frustrated so we took on the playground near my house.We swinged as high as possible with the intentions of breaking the metal chains holding the swings steadfast to the poles.Our intentions were to no avail so we all swinged and screamed on top of our lungs..expressing our never-ending love for Golok Gujeran as well..and I raced Darsh across the field..AND LOST.As expected.What's the point of going to the gym?Oh yea..I don't have speed..but I sure do have stamina.Hear that Darsh??:P.Petra,being the sweet geek..had to leave early..but not before having a nice paper passing game with us..Once she left..Me,DOM and Darsh started being Steven Speilberg..filming all sorts of stuff..we recorded a Bhangra dance vid..and the BeeGees dance vid as well..Boy we had tons of fun..but we were gonna face Convent Peel on Tuesday..which is on the next post..see you there..

Finals For Zone Keramat Wira Cup Debate
A CBN - St Johns final..history repeats itself..
Early in the morning,we all reached Setapak High,met with the teachers..they said we looked stressed..heck yeah we are..we felt so down..what if we got government?WE HAD NO SPEECHES!!!Then Daddy came.My hero.To motivate us..he injected me with a little boost..but still I couldn't contemplate on our chances of winning..but what were we to do if we got gov?WE HAD NO SPEECHES!!!and yes..we did get government.
Quarantine:Me,Darsh,and Maizura hugged each other..this was it..this was the end..we were crying our eyeballs out..but then..we wanted to give St Johns a good fight..they deserve that too as they might have worked super hard on this motion..so within this one-hour quarantine..we wrote our speeches..
Debate:We debated.We gave our very best.And personally speaking,I was stunned by Drash and Maizura!!They were fantastic!!Did we actually write the speeches one hour ago??Did we actually come up with contentions at 2am??I was impressed and immensely proud of them..To Darsh and Maizura..I LOVE YOU GUYS..not forgetting Petra,,you are a very vital key in the team..with your rebuttals which actually makes sense rather than those who don't..with your effort..and commitment..and unrelenting support..Thank you dude!!I LOVE YOU TOOOOO!!!!(you might be cringing now as that might have sounded a tad bit too gay)I totally didn't expect us to do this well..St Johns did extremely well too..this was a REAL DEBATE.And to us..it didn't matter who won..because we totally pulled it off..We debated spontaneously!!No preparation whatsoever!!
"And the winning team is.................................THE GOVERNMENT!!!!"
We enveloped each other in hugs.The teachers were leaping with joy..It was a moment to remember..and Darsh really pulled it off by getting best speaker..proud of you dude!!!!This is not how the previous teams worked.They actually prepared for the debate.And our team..we used the one-hour quarantine(about 15 minutes for crying..)and we pulled it off..This is how we'll work from now on..spontaneous debates..Right after winning..we all terrorised KLCC with our mayhem..watched Transformers..hit Chillies..and sashayed the day away..being happy to the ends of the earth..but we had flaws to rectify and in fact..Mr Ramesh who criticized our team the day before called back and apologised!He said he underestimated us..but then again..like a good teacher once said.."It's always good to be the underdogs.."

Suicide
We were so demotivated right after the 2nd round debate..everybody said St Johns would snag the zone chamipionship.We headed back to school to meet Pn Raj.We sat for about 2 hours in the library..sitting and discussing and coming up with contentions..yes..we didn't prepare for this debate..and yes..we are the ones to blame..
Right after that,we all took the train back to Darsh's..and no..we still haven't come up with conetentions..we felt like dying there and then..even the teachers tried their very best but there was no point sitting and harping in school when we were coming up with nothing.Then it hit me!Encik Latif did give us a number to call when he was in Bangladesh in case we needed help.And so I called.In the noisy train.And thank heavens someone actually picked up..it was Encik Latif's student..who helped us A LOT!!!Thank you to Danial..who gave us facts which we didn't really know..but sure did help us during the debate.But still..we couldn't find proper ways to argue the motion..

Day 2 Of Zon Keramat Wira Cup Debate
"THB that biodiversified products are a threat to mankind"
It was a tough motion if we would have gotten opposition..but we still prepared for it..and we came up with some pretty good arguments that we were confident in.In a nutshell,we didn't mind arguing opposition..the debate could be argued both ways.But we had killer points for government..and it has been in our blood to bring up killer points in a debate..True enough..we got government!!But the school we were up against was quite good..(THAT WAS WHAT WE HEARD)in fact..on the day before the debate..the teacher in charge..GOLOK(my nickname for her)..came and performed a drama for us..saying that her school will lose to us..they're not prepared..her boys have chicken pox..and we acted like concern little kids..knowing well of her conwoman tricks which she has up her sleeves..
Quarantine time!!!Time to freak out as we get to reveal our killer points!!!But what did I do??Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!!!!Heck yeah I did!The migraine was so terrible that I just knocked out..and I used up the one-hour quarantine on a good doze..
Debate Time!!!!We revealed our killer points..me,Petra and Maizura was banging them with POI's..haha!!And we were debating against some hot dude..he was the 2nd speaker..we saw him from Day 1 itself..
"Don't judge a person's voice based on his looks."

The moment he started speaking..we started laughing.Darsh said he looked as if someone whacked him and forced him to debate..and During debate..Maizura sent me a note saying.."omg..so handsome but what a turnoff!"And I couldnt stop laughing..to that dude..sorry..Maizura is evil..but you're still hot and nobody's perfect..!
And..we won..haha..but who's next??ST JOHN'S..now that's real competition..we were the underdogs..everybody said St John's would win..they were far better..and I agreed..for this past 2 rounds..our team kept getting negative comments from the adjudicators..saying that we might not stand a chance against St Johns..

Day 1 Of Zon Keramat Wira Cup Debate
It was a nerve-wrecking Tuesday..I'd say.Well,the day before..we didn't debate because we had the opportunity to skip the first round as we were state champs last year..So the 2nd round..well it was our first..destined us to face SMK Wangsa Maju Seksyen 5..We debated against them last year..well..I did..and they were pretty good..and they lived up to that this year..They gave us a good fight with the motion.."Short Text Messages Retard Reading Skills"..Maizura was pretty nervous about her first debate..Earlier,we formed a bully chain..Darsh was un-bully-able!But it looks like Maizura found a new way to do so..

Maizura:My 2nd speaker will rebut that later..
HAHAHAHAHAHA!!Me and Darsh just stared at each other..speechless!!What the heck was Maizura doing??Nevertheless..it was a fun debate..a tough one too as our opponents were good as well..but the true joy came in the fact that we won..
